Writing Update

Wow! Has it really been nearly a month since my last post? Sorry, folks, but maybe this news might make up for the lack of posting:

I've just completed the first draft of Reunion, Diversion 6. It's rather rough at the moment, so I'm in the polishing stages. I've ordered the cover art and am not quite ready to create a blurb.

I'd intended to focus on relationships in this installment of the Bo/Lucky saga, but darned if the story didn't grow more plot. So now there is a bit of mystery mixed in. Your favorite side characters make appearances, and you'll meet a few more.

And yes, there will be more Moose and Cat Lucky. I hope to hand the manuscript off to my critique partners by the end of the month.

That said, Fallen Angel Second Edition, the sequel to The Angel of 13th Street, is now in the beta process, as is a brand new book, Broken Wing. Broken Wing takes place in the Angelverse, but could be a standalone, telling the story of Lark, a side character from Fallen Angel.

So look for three releases from me in the next few months. I was planning a total of eight Diversion books, but have decided not to close the series completely--I have too many ideas for side stories, and too much pharmaceutical crime information to let waste.

And there are so many more ways I can torture adventures I can dream up for Bo and Lucky!
